Project Introduction

The National Energy Group Jiangxi Shenhua Jiujiang Power Plant's newly built 2×1000MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired power generation unit desulfurization wastewater zero-discharge project is located in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. The project adopts a low-temperature evaporation and concentration (Hezhongsi ® HLTC) + bypass spray drying process, with a total processing capacity of 25m³/h, an evaporation water intake of 25m³/h, and an influent TDS of approximately 60000mg/L. The entire system operates stably, and all parameters meet the design standards.

The overall process of this project requires no pretreatment and utilizes flue gas waste heat to treat desulfurization wastewater, thereby achieving the goal of zero wastewater discharge. It has completely solved the problem of zero-discharge treatment of power plant desulfurization wastewater and has become a model for the national promotion of a circular economy.

Hezhongsi® HLTC Low-Temperature Evaporation and Concentration Process Package

Hezhongsi (Beijing) Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. provided the design of the low-temperature evaporation and concentration process package and the supply of core equipment for this project.

The Hezhongsi® HLTC low-temperature evaporation and concentration process package is a new generation of energy-saving and environmentally friendly desulfurization wastewater zero-discharge process technology developed by Hezhongsi (Beijing) Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. based on the characteristics of desulfurization wastewater and combined with market demand.

The characteristic of this process lies in combining the treatment of desulfurization wastewater with waste heat utilization, greatly reducing the treatment cost of desulfurization wastewater.

This process draws on the technical principle of gypsum seeding antifouling in the salt chemical industry. The Hezhongsi technical team has completed a large number of creative improvements, such as adjusting process parameters and optimizing equipment structure, to the maximum extent delay or even eliminate the occurrence of scaling inside the evaporator.

In terms of process system design and the determination of operating control parameters, the Hezhongsi® HLTC low-temperature evaporation and concentration process has been effectively optimized and improved through simulation calculations and combined with the actual data analysis of existing operating projects. It has completely solved the problems of heat exchanger scaling and pipe blockage, truly achieving unmanned operation and long-term continuous stable operation of the evaporation and concentration system.
