The equipment output, effluent water quality, and other technical indicators meet the design requirements.
The reverse osmosis system adopts on-site/remote control operation mode. The configuration of monitoring instruments such as the water level of the intermediate water tank and the system water production meets the requirements of remote control start-up, shutdown, or system switching.
1. Security Filter
The structure of the security filter meets the requirements for quick replacement of filter elements.
A drain valve is installed on the water pipe entering the security filter.
2. Reverse Osmosis Water Pump (High-Pressure Pump)
The high-pressure pump adopts a vertical multi-stage water pump, and the materials of the pipes and accessories are all stainless steel.
A slow-opening device (control valve opening speed) and a pressure switch are installed at the outlet of the high-pressure pump to prevent the membrane components from being impacted by high-pressure water and to alarm and stop the pump when the pressure is high for a long time.
A pressure switch is installed for the alarm and shutdown signal when the membrane components are impacted by high-pressure water and the pressure is high for a long time.
The sealing method considers corrosion resistance, mechanical seal.
A pressure switch is installed at the inlet of the reverse osmosis water pump, which alarms and stops the pump when the pressure is low. A high-pressure switch is installed at the outlet, which alarms and stops the pump when the pressure is high.
3. Reverse Osmosis (RO) Unit
The RO unit is set up as 2 series units, each of which can operate independently or simultaneously.
The selection of reverse osmosis membrane elements is based on the characteristics of the water quality to select membranes with high water permeability, high desalination rate, good chemical stability
and good mechanical strength.
The design water flux of the RO membrane element should be selected according to the low value of the water flux specified by the membrane element. A reasonable arrangement and combination should be selected to ensure the normal operation of the membrane element and a reasonable cleaning cycle.
Based on the characteristics and requirements of the water quality, clearly specify the types and addition points of water treatment chemicals. The selection of chemical cleaning solution is determined according to the water quality and the characteristics of the selected reverse osmosis membrane components, and the required types and requirements of chemicals are proposed.
Sufficient interfaces and valves are installed on the RO unit's total water supply pipe and each section of concentrated water pipe, product water inlet and outlet pipe, so that they can be connected to the cleaning solution inlet and outlet pipes during cleaning.
The RO concentrate water drainage is equipped with a flow control valve (solenoid valve) to control the water recovery rate.
The design of the RO unit avoids the membrane element from withstanding back pressure.
Sampling points are set on the inlet pipe and product water pipe of the RO unit, and the number and location of the sampling points can effectively diagnose and determine the operating status of the system.
4. Cleaning System
The cleaning equipment includes a cleaning tank, cleaning pump, security filter, cleaning tank electric heater, as well as pipes, valves, instruments, etc. All equipment should be assembled on a chassis to form a unit. The material and anti-corrosion coating of the cleaning system should be suitable for the cleaning solution used. The cleaning tank is equipped with an electric heater.
5. Flushing System
The flushing system includes a flushing pump, valves, and pipes. When the high-pressure pump stops, the flushing pump is linked. The control of the flushing system adopts program automatic operation and on-site operation.
6. Reverse Osmosis System Piping
The piping of the entire system avoids dead corners to prevent bacterial growth, and a flushing system is provided. High-pressure pipes use corrosion-resistant stainless steel (polished outer surface) for the corresponding medium.
7. Reverse Osmosis System Instruments
The number of monitoring instruments configured in the system should meet the needs of safe, stable, and reliable operation of this system.
Flow measurement sampling points: Each reverse osmosis feed water, total product water, and cleaning water (after the security filter) is equipped with an on-site flow indicator.
Pressure measurement sampling points: On-site pressure indicators are installed at the inlet and concentrate outlet of each section of RO; pressure switches are installed at the inlet and outlet of the reverse osmosis feed water pump.
Analytical instrument measurement sampling points: Two automatic SDI instruments are installed at the inlet (mother pipe) of two security filters;
Level measurement sampling points: The cleaning water tank is equipped with a level gauge (with level alarm signal), and realizes the corresponding interlocking start and stop pump function.
Temperature measurement sampling points: The cleaning tank is equipped with a thermometer and a thermistor.
A conductivity meter is installed at the RO product water outlet, and a conductivity meter is installed at the total water inlet of the RO unit before the security filter.
03 Chemical dosing system

The volume of various chemical solution tanks meets the daily chemical consumption of all equipment, and is equipped with on-site level indication and remote level indication, and can issue high and low level alarm signals.
The solution tank body is made of corresponding corrosion-resistant materials.
The chemical dosing device can automatically adjust the dosing amount according to the flow rate.
The pump stroke of the metering pump is 0~100% adjustable, and the output is 1.25 times the maximum dosing amount. The metering accuracy at the maximum stroke (relative stroke is 100%) is not less than 1%. The metering pump can receive flow signals and automatically adjust the dosing amount. The metering pump is a high-quality imported product with mature operating experience.
Valves are configured according to process requirements, and connecting valves are corrosion-resistant valves.
The chemical dosing pump will be designed for continuous operation. The pump arrangement should facilitate testing, replacement, and maintenance of all components.
