August 15, 2024, marked the second National Ecology Day, a significant day dedicated to popularizing Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought and raising public awareness of ecological civilization. We understand that ecological civilization construction is not something that can be achieved overnight; it requires persistent efforts and continuous dedication.
The Alashan SEE North China Project Center and Mr. Tian Xufeng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hezhong Environment (Beijing) Co., Ltd., gathered together under the theme of "National Ecology Day: Living with Water, Building Ecological Civilization, and Protecting the Water Veins of North China," to jointly explore new paths for ecological civilization construction.
As an important region in China, the protection of the water veins in North China is crucial to the country's overall ecological security. Living with water is not only a reverence for life but also a profound understanding of ecological civilization construction. We know that only by protecting water resources can we ensure the sustainable development of North China and turn green mountains and clear waters into genuine mountains of gold and silver. Therefore, this meeting focuses on how to more effectively promote ecological civilization construction in North China and protect its precious water veins.
At the meeting, Mr. Tian Xufeng delivered a speech. He stated that Hezhong Environment (Beijing) Co., Ltd. will continue to be committed to ecological and environmental protection, driven by technological innovation, and contribute its strength to the ecological civilization construction of North China. Mr. Tian Xufeng also shared the company's latest progress in environmental protection technology and how they implement the concept of ecological civilization in practice, achieving a win-win situation between economic benefits and environmental protection. He emphasized that enterprises are not only drivers of economic development but should also be active participants in ecological civilization construction. He called on more enterprises and individuals to join the ranks of ecological civilization construction and jointly protect our beautiful homeland.
The Alashan SEE North China Project Center, as one of the organizers of this meeting, also expressed its firm determination to build ecological civilization. They stated that they will continue to uphold the concept of "living with water" and promote continuous progress in ecological civilization construction in North China. They shared a series of ecological protection projects implemented in North China in recent years, including water source protection, wetland restoration, and river governance, demonstrating the significant achievements of ecological civilization construction in improving the local ecological environment and the quality of life for residents. At the same time, they also stated that they will actively cooperate with all sectors of society to jointly create a model for ecological civilization construction.
The meeting also included an interactive session, where participants engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on how to better promote ecological civilization construction.
