On December 31, 2021, the "Water Reuse Guidelines" series of national standards, spearheaded by Tsinghua University, the China National Institute of Standardization, and Tsinghua University Shenzhen International Graduate School, were officially released after approval by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the State Standardization Administration of China. The "Water Reuse Guidelines" series of national standards The release and implementation of these standards will provide important standard guidelines for the development of wastewater resource utilization in China. They are significant for strengthening the tiered management of reclaimed water, guiding the development and optimization of wastewater treatment technologies, and promoting the rapid development of the reclaimed water industry.

The "Water Reuse Guidelines" series of national standards are the first of their kind and include the following three standards:

(1) "Water Reuse Guidelines: Water Quality Management of Reclaimed Water Plants" (GB/T 41016-2021)

(2) "Water Reuse Guidelines: Evaluation Methods for Wastewater Treatment Technologies and Processes" (GB/T 41017-2021)

(3) "Water Reuse Guidelines: Reclaimed Water Classification" (GB/T 41018-2021)

Hezhong High-tech (Beijing) Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. participated in the compilation of "Water Reuse Guidelines: Evaluation Methods for Wastewater Treatment Technologies and Processes" (GB/T 41017-2021). The standard came into effect on July 1, 2022, This standard specifies the relevant terms and definitions, indicator system, procedures, and requirements for the evaluation of wastewater treatment technologies and processes. It can provide guidance for the selection, diagnosis, and operational optimization of treatment technologies or processes, and has a positive significance for ensuring the safe, stable, efficient, and economical operation of wastewater treatment systems, and promoting the development, application, and optimization of wastewater treatment technologies.
