On November 21, the "18th Annual Financial Conference and 21st Century Financial Development (Lizhe) Annual Conference" was grandly held in Fengtai, Beijing. Tian Xufeng, Chairman of Huzhong Environment (Beijing) Co., Ltd., attended and participated in a roundtable discussion on "How to improve financial technology."

As a national-level specialized and new "small giant" enterprise, Huzhong Environment (Beijing) Co., Ltd.'s main business covers industrial wastewater treatment, zero-emission and resource utilization, and it is also a supplier of industrial water treatment equipment.

Tian Xufeng frankly stated that, from his 20 years of entrepreneurial experience and 8 years of financing, one of the main reasons why finance and technology companies were not well integrated in the early years was that the overall "aesthetic standards" of financial institutions did not quite match those of technology companies. Financial institutions often focus on indicators such as a company's fixed assets, investment, and net profit, while many technology companies do not meet these standards. Many technology companies do not have high fixed assets, may not have many employees, and may not have net profits or even have large losses in the initial stage, but they may have great growth potential in the later stage. "For finance to better serve technology companies, the main problem to solve is the 'aesthetic standards'. If the 'aesthetic standards' are not addressed, this gap will always exist."

As the head of an environmental protection company, Tian Xufeng hopes that financial technology can better integrate with green finance. For example, green technology finance can be further subdivided under green finance, and banks and non-bank institutions can further subdivide it based on this, such as setting up independent departments to focus on green technology companies. Through subdivision and targeted products and services, financial institutions may be able to more accurately match the needs of relevant companies.

In addition to expressing his expectations, Tian Xufeng also shared some of his observations on financing for technology companies in recent years. "In the past two or three years, major banks have set up credit loan mechanisms for specialized and new enterprises, completely changing the old way of small and medium-sized enterprises relying on the boss mortgaging their property for loans. From 2020 to the present, this channel has been basically open." Tian Xufeng said that from the banks his company cooperates with, everyone is actively cooperating and has arranged special personnel and projects to support this aspect. "As a member of the real economy, I have felt the real benefits."
