Selective Hydrogenation Platform Technology for Fine Chemicals

 

Fine chemicals are high-value-added chemicals produced by deep processing of basic petrochemical products. approximately 80% of fine chemical production all involve catalytic hydrogenation reactions. China's fine chemical industry is globally leading in scale, but high-end products are scarce, with high import dependence and a lack of independent core hydrogenation technology, severely restricting industrial development. Therefore, developing selective hydrogenation technology for fine chemicals with independent intellectual property rights is particularly important.

 

CNOOC Tianjin Chemical Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Tianjin Institute), in line with the development trend of the fine chemical industry, has developed a selective hydrogenation platform technology for fine chemicals based on research on the mechanism of selective hydrogenation reactions of different functional groups, the creation of catalytic materials, and innovation in microbubble-enhanced fixed-bed continuous hydrogenation processes.

 

 

 

This technology can be used for relevant process design and the development of supporting catalysts for different fine chemicals, achieving C=C C C C=O -NO2- C N and aromatic rings, etc., the selective hydrogenation of target functional groups, meeting the production needs of high quality and high value of fine chemicals.

 

 

 

II. Advanced Description

 

The selective hydrogenation platform technology for fine chemicals includes high-performance hydrogenation series catalysts and microbubble-enhanced fixed-bed continuous hydrogenation process 固定床连续加氢工艺 can achieve the functional group high-efficiency directional conversion in fine chemicals. The reaction temperature is lower than that of similar domestic catalysts by 20  or more, and its performance has reached the international advanced level.
