In the poem "Lichun" (立春), the line "Who's family boils new silk in February?" evokes a scene of spring. The following lines, "A river of yellow bream should not know," and "If peach blossoms and plum blossoms appear tomorrow, don't ask the old plum tree if it knows," add to the imagery. Lichun, the first of the Twenty-Four Solar Terms, is also known as Zhengyuejie (正月节), Suijie (岁节), Gaisu (改岁), and Suidan (岁旦). "Li" (立) means "beginning," and "Chun" (春) represents warmth and growth. In the Gan-Zhi calendar system, the Yin month (寅月) marks the beginning of spring, and Lichun is considered the start of the year. Lichun signifies the beginning of all things and renewal, marking the start of a new cycle. Traditionally, Lichun holds auspicious meaning. On Lichun, people customarily eat radishes, ginger, scallions, and flatbread, a practice known as "yao chun" (咬春), meaning "biting into spring." There are also special foods for Lichun, primarily spring pancakes.

The comprehensive management campaign for the Bohai Sea has yielded significant results, with a new landscape of clear water, green banks, clean beaches, and beautiful bays gradually unfolding.

Since the launch of the Bohai Sea comprehensive governance campaign, Tianjin has achieved significant improvements in water quality. All 8 nationally monitored rivers flowing into the Bohai Sea from Tianjin have improved from being classified as 'all inferior' to 'all non-inferior'. The proportion of national monitoring sections with good water quality has increased by 20 percentage points, while the proportion of Class V water quality has decreased by 40 percentage points, achieving 'zero'. The reduction rate ranks among the top in the country.
